How CardsSell Works

CardsSell follows a verification-first workflow. Before any gift card is redeemed, it is reviewed for balance, validity, and eligibility, and you are asked to confirm the transaction in writing. This order of operations protects sellers from mistakes and protects CardsSell from fraudulent submissions.

Every stage of the process is designed around transparency and security: the payout offer is shown before you submit, verification results are shared with you by email, and no redemption takes place without your explicit authorization.

You begin by selecting your gift card brand and entering the requested card information. The payout offer is displayed on screen so you can review the amount before continuing. Submission is entirely voluntary — you choose whether to proceed after seeing the offer.

Every submitted gift card is reviewed before it is accepted. Verification may include:

• Balance confirmation
• Card validity
• Brand eligibility
• Duplicate detection
• Fraud screening
• Ownership verification when appropriate

Once verification is complete, we email you the verified balance, the final payout, and the payout method you selected. You decide whether to continue — nothing happens to your card until you explicitly authorize the sale.

Only after you authorize the transaction is the gift card redeemed. If you decline, or if we do not receive your approval, the card is never used and the submission is closed.

Your approved payout is sent electronically to the destination you selected — such as PayPal, bank transfer, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Cash payments are never offered.
